Job photos are worth real money twice. Once when a customer disputes what a room looked like before you touched it, and once when you need proof of your work and all you have is four thousand photos in one roll.
The fix is one album per job, named for the address, made before you start.
Why it pays for itself the first time
It ends the “that is not how we left it” conversation in about four seconds, with a timestamp.
And by December you have a year of before-and-afters organized by address. That is your website gallery, your Google listing photos, and every social post you did not have time to think up, already done.
Do this
- In Google Photos, select your first few photos, tap Create (+) → Album, and name it for the address. “42 Oak St.” Nothing else. The address is what you will search for later.

Select the photos, then Create
Choose Album — not Collage - Share it with the crew: open the album → Share → pick people, or Create link. Anyone with the link can view and add photos, so the whole crew’s phones land in one place.

Get link is the one that lets the crew add photos - Shoot before, during, and after. During is the one everyone skips and the one that settles arguments.
- Send the customer the link when you invoice.
Use Google Photos rather than Apple’s Shared Albums. Google works across iPhones and Androids, and your crew will not all be on the same phone.
If your screen looks different
Google Photos renamed the Library tab to Collections in August 2024. Your albums are under Collections → Albums. To stop people adding to an album later, open it → More (⋮) → Sharing settings → Collaborate and turn it off.

- Ask for the review before you drive off — An album full of proof is the easiest review request you will ever send.
- Write the notes before you drive away — The album and the estimate notes both come from the same walkthrough.

I am Betsy Walker. I do the work a busy owner never gets to: the website, the follow-up, the customer email, the reviews, the online listings. Nobody in your business was ever hired to do any of it, so it waits for you.
One piece at a time, done in a week or two at a price you know before I start, most of them between $550 and $850. Or I run it every month, so it stays done. I work remotely, so nobody has to show up at your shop.
